Positive Change Program

positiveChangePreviously known as Eco-Stamp, our bag credit and donation program is now known as Positive Change. The name is a nod to our mission statement: to create positive change in the community by influencing the production, distribution, and enjoyment of food.

With this change, we raised the stakes by increasing each reusable bag credit donation to be worth 10¢ instead of 5¢. We need your help in creating the most positive change in our communities so we also ask that you round up your purchases to the next dollar amount for donation to our monthly Positive Change recipient. It may only be a few cents or spare change, but the cumulative impact on our community is astounding! On average, you help us raise over $8,000 each month for our Positive Change recipients.

St. Paul-based nonprofits are encouraged to apply for the Positive Change Program. Recipients are typically organizations with missions pertaining to local and sustainable agriculture, hunger initiatives, food access, and nutrition education.

To apply, download the Positive Change Program Policy & Request Form and return it to our customer service staff or email a completed one to Education & Events Specialist Katie Marty. Applications are accepted on an on-going rolling basis and reviewed quarterly.
