Recipes for 3 Days, 3 Ways

Times are tough for a lot of people, and we want to help you stretch your food dollars as far and as healthily as possible. So we’ve created Three Days, Three Ways, a monthly program of recipes and cooking tips to help your food purchases go further.

Each month, we’ll offer a main-event protein that you can cook (or sometimes buy ready-cooked in our deli!) and then stretch deliciously across three days in three very different ways. Our recipes make use of items that are commonly on sale, thereby stretching your food dollars even further. These are very easy, delicious recipes that can be prepared in a short period of time or prepped in advance, using ingredients that are particularly inexpensive and/or in season during a given month. We’ll take advantage of frozen and canned vegetables in winter months and fresh produce when it can be bought or grown locally. Recipe amounts assume two eaters of normal appetite; each month we’ll alternate omnivore and vegetarian choices.
