In the coming months, there are a number of community meetings scheduled, as we continue to move ahead with our plans to open our third store on East 7th Street. These meetings give us a chance to communicate our plans to, as well as receive input from, the communities that our new store would serve.
The City of St. Paul and the District Council have scheduled a community meeting for Thursday, May 29th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, 463 Maria Ave., St. Paul.
The purpose of this meeting is to give the community an update on the status of Mississippi Market’s project and the status of the senior housing project being developed by Dominium. If you are a Mississippi Market member who lives in the Dayton’ Bluff neighborhood, we encourage you to attend.
Mississippi Market is also on the agenda for the Dayton’s Bluff Land Use Committee meeting on June 2nd. At this time, we will give the committee an update on our project and ask them for a formal letter of support. We expect that our request for this formal letter of support will go before the full District Council board on June 16th.
These community meetings are a great opportunity for you to share your thoughts and show your support for a Mississippi Market on East 7th Street. We hope to see you there!
