Save the Date: Co-op Farm Tour

Saturday, July 15 | 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m

Over 25 urban and rural Twin City farm locations

Experience food in a different way – directly from the source! Every summer, we partner with a dozen other Twin Cities-area food co-ops to put on the Eat Local Farm Tour. This year, we’re introducing a new name—the Co-op Farm Tour. The new name highlights our collective food co-op community and our businesses’ direct support of local farmers. This free showcase event is a great opportunity to meet the people and see the places behind some of your favorite local foods. Venture out with family and friends to meet local farmers, tour their farms, and learn more about their sustainable operations. This year, over 25 urban and rural farms will open their doors to visitors for free self-guided tours, kids’ activities, learning, and discovery.

The plants will once again come from local growers including Glacial Ridge in Glenwood, Minnesota and Green Earth Growers near Prior Lake. Over the years, both have demonstrated strong commitments to using sustainable growing and cultivation practices. Everything available at the Plant Sale is grown to organic standards.
